Measurements can be grouped into the following default categories or you can create your own custom groups:

 Grouping Measurements

  • Asphalt
  • Concrete
  • Edges
  • Mulch
  • Turf
  • Sidewalks

By default, measurements are placed in the "All" group. If you want to group measurements according to what you are measuring, simply select the group name before you begin to measure.

1. Select the type of group to measure

2. Take measurements

3. Measurements are grouped in the results window and on the Excel spreadsheet

4. Measurements can also be assigned to a group after they have been drawn by right-clicking the measurement and selecting "Assign To Group".

5. To create your own custom groups, please see the Creating Custom Groups help article.

Is there any way to change to grouping of an area after you have measured it? In other words, after I have measured an area and it defaulted into the "ALL" group, can I regroup it with a command to say "aspalt".
